more pain, pain, pain since follow up endoscopy last thursday

I  really didnt think my situation could get much more miserable but since my endoscopy last thursday which now shows i have a hiatal hernia in addition to the throat swelling and pain.  Now i have noticed that my esophagus is hurting from the throat to the sternum.  Somebody please tell me this will ease up over time not get worse.  Ive had enough pain with my throat. I dont need more.  Thanks

Dencha, well, im dealing with the biggest university hospital in America and i have a chart that i can email questions but the gastro people dont answer. I havent even gotten in to see a gastro doctor yet because they are booked up 3 months ahead. Im working with a nurse practioner who is obviously too busy to answer my questions. My ENT always responds but this isnt his area. I feel like im on my own most of the time.
