Huh, I have all of those symptoms. I have been told I'm fine and I don't have reflux by numerous doctors. If you can pin point it down to something let me know. The ear pain and shortness of breathe is so debilitating. I'm heading to mayo clinic in the next couple of days, I'll let you know what they say, but I recently went to a mcw and they told me that my symptoms could be from reflux... or nerve pain, or stomach growth in my throat, or Allergies/food allergies. What's it called... EoE.
The 48 hour bravo capsule probe will be inserted into your esophagus while your knocked out by anesthesia. It's a probe that has a ph sensor in it and I'm assuming it's like the size of a skittle, but your doctor will latch it on to the walls of your esophagus and it will stay there for a couple of days and finally get passed on through your bowels. You may feel a little prick in the area the capsule is placed. For me, I barely noticed it.
