48 hr bravo test

Has anyone had this test done how does it feel and is it a good test for lpr or is the duel prob ph test better? Anyone can give me the pros and cons it would be greatly appriated thank you.

I had it and it hurt so much that six days later i woke up with a lump in my throat. My doctors dont know if the probe caused it or not but its been six months of hell every since. Its not a good test for LPR anyway.

The dual probe is much better

I am 64 and had this test done before my NF 2 1/2 years ago. I had a slight feeling of something caught in my throat but nothing that bothered me really bad. The most annoying thing about the test was having to go off my Nexium 10 days before the test. I developed an ulcer in that time.. but as soon as the test was over I was able to go back on the Nexium until my surgery. My surgeon gained enough conclusive info from this last test to submit to insurance and they approved the surgery.

I guess it affects each person differently.
