Hi,
Can swallowing air cause acid reflux?
If so surely the sphincter should be strong enough to stop this from happening.
I have a high demeester score but the consultant thinks this is all caused by me swallowing air. I do tend to belch a lot but this is only since I have had acid reflux before this started I never used to belch.
My sphincter on the tests didn't appear to be weak so what's causing all of this.
