Hello everyone,
I was told numerous times to stay away from carbonated beverages, especially soda (pop), so I tried an experiment.
I recently took a 1 liter bottle of Dr. Brown's Cream Soda (USA) - no caffine and shook the heck out of it until no carbonation remained. I figured I would get the taste without the bubbles and not have any reflux. I was wrong.
To my surprise, there wasn't a difference - something else must be precipitating the reflux. I then went with a glass of seltzer (plain carbonated water) with even less of an issue.
Any thoughts?
GM :)
