Not doing so great still... Went back to work. 70 + hr work week. Fun... Was completely weak. I felt like an overworked horse that was about
to collapse from exhaustion! This week I'm guessing I will be forced to work 80 hours... My job is quite frustrating at the moment.
My reflux symptoms I had are still there. Zantac, Pepcid seem to give me more heartburn/reflux 5 minutes after taking them than before. My neurontin seems to give me really back burns now too! Strange... So do poptarts. Can't eat anything still without it getting stuck. Anything thats larger than a pea will get stuck... I feel it in my sternum and also in my back. I don't know how much of this getting stuck/ intra oesophageal reflux is contributing to my overall reflux, but it seems like it's rather significant still at 7 weeks.
My throat still hurts quite a bit, somedays are a little better than others... Can't sleep laying down what so ever now. Been sleep hunched over in a ball in my chair. I can't sleep on my back... So I have to lean side ways on the chair. It's very uncomfortable. When I relax my tongue I doo gag like crazy in a matter of seconds when I'm on my back, but I've had a sleep study done. It came back saying I had 33 arousals... I slept on my left side during it though. I'm sure I would have complete blockage and 50 + arousals.
Thinking of having that redone, but it takes so long just to get one scheduled. It's annoying. I just want to buy a machine and not pay my insurance company. In the past when my reflux was controlled I would wake up quite a bit less during sleep, but I still think that sleep apnea could be an issue. Just because I can have complete gagging blockage in a matter of seconds when I recline.
Another thing... I can't seem to gain weight. I weigh 131 pounds... Haven't been this small since 10th grade. Can't see how this is possible... At work I eat like every 2 hours.
