Hi:
For the past six months, on and off, I have been having stomach issues, including acid reflux. Went on nexium, did not help, then, for a month, went on protonix, which did help a bit. I am off all meds now. My symptoms are: dry mouth (while at the same time seems like extra saliva in throat, need to clear it), scratchy red throat, slight acidy throat, post nasal drip, my breath is probably not fresh either. Anyways, is it possible I have strep throat? Or, is my throat not feeling well due to post nasal drip or allergy or sinus infection? Seems like my nose is drippy a lot and my eyes too. Feeling overall blah. i really do not eat a lot of bad trigger foods--no alcohol, no chocolate, no spicy food, no deep fried stuff. I am not sure if i should go back to my gastro doc to get an endoscopy, or, see an ENT. I was planning on seeing my primary doc to see which specialist would be best to address all my symptoms. My diet is bad though, I do not eat enough food, I am very stressed, underweight, not drinking enough water, no exercise. I also have ankylosing spondylitis, so inflammation is present everywhere.
I have made an appt with a local nutritionist. But, i think she will charge a lot of money to construct a plan for me (food plan, vitamins, supplements).
Appreciate comments, thanks...
