Back and throat pain with acid reflux

Does anyone wake up with back and throat pain? I know it has to do with my acid reflux because as soon as I get up and take tums, it goes away. I have had acid reflux for many years and have been off and on nexium but now starting to get worried. This has happened quite a few times over the past year and a half and I am afraid to google it since I have medical anxiety.

I have had all kinds of tests done in the last two years but none recently. The back pain comes and goes and is on the right side, top.

This sounds like your reflux coming back and going higher into your throat. If tums stops then it is acid.

The back and throat pain are common with gerd I have been fighting this for almost a year throat pain very often.

I have anxiety also which makes it way worse than it is, these posts have helped a lot. If the tums is stopping it then I wouldn't worry about it being anything other than acid reflux.
I would suggest spend some time reading these posts, maybe that will calm your anxiety which might calm the symptoms
