Has anyone had botox for cricopharyngeal dysfunction and if so did it help? I feel as though I'm being strangled continually, have a lump in my throat, my whole neck feels tight and it's painful to swallow. I have been diagnosed with mild upper dysphagia - all neuro tests clear. I'm fairly sure its from the LPR, the acid I have is weak reflux but it causes esophageal spasms, and now this since June. My consultant says no nissen or endsotim due to motility issues - so what choices do I have?
I'm getting desperate.
