If you will be taking PPIs for over two years, you should take the following supplements:
Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D3
SloMag which is the best delayed release Magnesium Chloride supplement
Vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin
I have been taking various PPIs for 8 years and these have worked for me. They are all over-the counter-preparations..
Above ll, insist your doctor order, calcium, magnesium, B12 and Folate levels on your yearly blood panels.
As I have found, you must be an advocate for yourself. Much of the information about long term use of PPIs is just coming to light. Print them out and take them to your doctor on your next visit. I did...it worked.
