Motilium/domperidone, who is on it?

I have been taking motilium (domperidone) 10mg, 3x a day for about 3 years. It helps tremendously. Is anyone else on it? If yes, are you concerned about potential heart issues from motilium? Just wondering what everyones thoughts are. My GI wants me to stop taking it eventually but does not have a good alternative.

Hi, I am on Domperidone - I also find that it helped, however as my GERD has got worse I need higher doses and I'm just not comfortable with that, and yes I am very worried about the side effects. At the moment it's a case of I need them, as soon as I know what path I'm taking I hope to get off them as soon as possible.

Motilium is not available in the US. Wish it was.
