So I am 21 and I have LPR it was diagnosed a month ago(However if feels like a lifetime.) I was on omperzole it didn't work. I started working out in the gym, probiotics, digestive enzymes,Vitamin D and B-complex slippery elm lozenges. And I am so proud to say it's going away!!!!
My symptoms mostly where constant hoarseness a pleghmy cough during and after eating! This is really bad because the cough was annoying and I am singer and the hoarseness is DEFINITELY not ok.
I figured my LPR is going away mostly because when I sing very Quietly my voice produces a sound. When it does not it means my cords are inflamed. So far almost every part of my voice I'm able to hum quietly.
However, when I get louder there is still some raspyness. So my cords aren't fully healed yet. How long does it take heal vocal cords that have been berated by acid? Any singers on here who have experienced this?
Also I feel like if there is any LPR left it happens at night(Cause I wake up the most raspy) but I'v elevated my head anything else I could do?
