Hello, friends.
Today is Monday, I had my Nissen last Wednesday. I have some pain in my shoulders, which I understand is from the gas, not a big problem, warmth and rubbing helps, it will work itself out.
I do, however, have paid with every swallow. Its like a punch in the chest 5 times, as it goes down the esophagus, then a boulder that hurts like hell and slowly dissolves. with every swallow, even my own spit. Is that normal?
I am on a clear liquid diet, my average day is like this: 1 cup coffee, 1 cup tea, 1 cup juice, 1 cup jello, 2 popsicle. All that spread out through the day.
I am on stool softeners three times a day, but I have not had a bowel movement since Tuesday, that is almost a week now. Is that normal? I can pass gas, no problems, but no growling, gurgling, or other sounds or sensations from my intestines.
I only took pain meds the day I cam home, which was Thursday. I have a tennis ball size knot in my belly, where I think my stomach is. I can do tiny burps.
Thank y'all for your help.
