Ok, thanks. I'm on a very simple diet right now. We took the alkaline food list and the histamine intolerance food list and I'm eating the foods that are on both lists for two weeks. Day two and I'm already having trouble because there isn't much on it but at the same time, I feel lighter. No grains, dairy, soy, processed foods, boxed foods, or anything really. The list is like asparagus, kale, watermelon (not in season now), egg occasionally, fresh chicken occasionally, freshwater wild fish but only if frozen and fresh, lettuce, carrots, a few other veggies, almonds, almond butter, apples in moderation, canteloupe (which I hate), cucumber, coconut, and sunflower seeds are mostly what is on it. I miss rice but not the heavy feeling in my stomach. I also have to cook all veggies and even some fruit because otherwise my stomach hurts. I'm still doing nexium 2x/day. I have all the symptoms of GERD and LPR. Hmph. I hope this ends soon. I'd like to keep some rice in my diet, but reduce it significantly from what it was. I miss my dairy free/gluten free mac and cheese but it has rice and yeast. Two of my no no's this week.
