I'd like to try the Canadian gaviscon since it has no aluminum but seems quite pricey compared to US or even UK versions. Ebay has the UK version at a reasonable price, but it has saccharin(sp?) in it. I went to a Canada online site at it was charging $36 US dollars, seems high...

Anyone found better deals?

also wondering can I just buy some capsules of sodium alginate, would that do the same thing as the gaviscon, form the raft which prevents the acid going up my throat?

I went ahead and ordered sodium alginate and the gaviscon advanced(from UK) off amazon. I'll post how it goes.
