Can't seem to get enough wind?

Hi all,
First time poster but avid reader. I had a full Nissen wrap eight days ago and over all doing well thanks to this site for helping make sense of all the weird stuff my body is going through.
My biggest concern now is it really never seems like I can get enough air in my lungs almost like someone is sitting on my chest, is this the diaphragm healing/swelling or has anyone else had this issue?

It's a good place to receive support and information while you heal!

I have asthma, and had the surgery to stop the reflux that was making my asthma life-threatening. I had a lung infection post-op, and had tons of mucous in my lungs. So, as you can imagine, my breathing wasn't too good!

The symptom you describe isn't common, but I've heard it before. Why not call your surgeon's office and run the symptom by them to see what they say. Wish I could be more help!
