1 month post op..swallowing?

Hi there,

For those of you who are a few weeks out and longer from surgery, do you find swallowing gets more difficult as the day goes? I start off ok but then it gets tougher. I'm still on fluids only. Curious what your experiences are. When did your swallowing get easier? Where, as best you can tell, in you throat/esophagus did you feel things slowed or got hung up?

Hi Wendy,

Absolutely true. I noticed it from day one. Swallowing is much easier on an empty stomach. As you eat meals throughout the day, the plumbing starts to get plugged up. Sorry...I couldn't think of a better description. It gets better but your stomach will be a reminder if you overeat and gain too much weight.
