Surgeons in N Florida or surrounding areas in the South East US?

I'm still new here and researching. I'm anticipating I will need a Nissen procedure sooner or later. I recently completed a Bravo PH study and go back next week for the results.

Are there any surgeons in or around North Florida that are highly recommended? Is there a list of experienced surgeons somewhere I could review, or suggestions from folks here who have had this procedure? Through some browsing here and searching online I've found a few places in Georgia and Tampa but I want to be sure I am finding surgeons with enough experience.

Oh yes, I'm sure I will get a referral, but a cursory search doesn't return any listings locally so I wanted to ask here to see if anyone had personal experience with someone good nearby.

Mayo Jacksonville has a small group of surgeons that specialize in Nissen.
I had mine done in Orlando by Dr. Wier, he's done hundreds. I'm very satisfied.

I did over the Xmas holiday & went back to work in a week.

I saw several doctors and specialists at mayo clinic prior to getting a linx implant roughly six months ago. The doctors and support staff are among the best I've ever had the pleasure of being under their care. If your insurance includes mayo I highly recommend it. I was referred to both Shands in Gainesville and mayo, mayo was able to see me sooner.
