They've been using pieces of intestines to replace esophagus for years, at least in university hospitals.

When my esophagus tore and wouldn't stop leaking after surgery. Twice I was scheduled to have my esophagus removed and either my stomach ot intestine used as my esophagus.

Thankfully they were able to get things under control.

Probably not with the hernia itself; but if you have severe erosion or HGD that could take a donor or cloned esophagus, strip the cells off of it and use your own stem cells to bring it life and perform a transplant without the risk of your body rejecting it.
