Super worried... second time I cannot hear in the morning.

I have GERD/IBS/LPR. I went to the ear doctor on what I thought was an unrelated (to my stomach issues) hearing loss and ear pain. She diagnosed me with LPR. She prescribed Omeprazole, which of course, I already had at home from my GI doctor. I took it for the two weeks and it cleared the ear pain up. I am not a fan of medication, so once I was done with the two weeks, I switched to Aloe Vera capsules which has continued to help.

I got a cold about a month ago and with the sinus part of it came back the hearing loss and ear pain. So this week, I decided to go back on the Omeprazole to clear it up.

Last week, I woke up one day with marked hearing loss in my left ear. I can hear things but it's very muffled and very echoey in my left ear. My right ear is also affected but not as badly. It cleared up that night, but again this morning I woke up and it seems almost worse than last time and very worrisome.

Should I go to the doctor? Should I call the doctor? Should I just wait and see if it gets better tonight? Any thoughts? Anyone else experience this?

Thanks 1039smooth- I have my ENT appointment today. The echoing has gone away and it doesn't feel full any more, but I still can't hear out of it 100%, so I'm hoping the fact that that symptom is still around will help the doctor determine what it is.
