LINX surgeon in New York for GERD/LPR!!

What can I be doing on Saturday night? Researching surgeons for LINX in New York.
I have recently been diagnosed with GERD, and esophigitis, along with a "small" hernia. But I am now having LPR symptoms. Typical burning in my mouth, throat, nose, and bitter taste. Has anyone had the LINX performed for LPR and GERD? Any success with the LPR?

And does anyone have any leads on a good surgeon for LINX in New York?

Any help is MUCH MUCH appreciated! THANK YOU!

There are six Linx implant surgeons in the state of New York. There name and contact information are listed at

You may have already visited the site-- if so, sorry for repeating. Suggest you call them and ask about their success with gerd and LPR. Also how many implants they have done. We did it that way. They are most helpful over the phone. They usually ask you to leave your name and number then call you back so you can ask lots of questions. One office asked us to fax over all the tests results and they would determine the probability of possibly helping you-- or if more testing needed-- most likely.

We even saw a billboard advertising the Linx. Also, quite a few doctors offer seminars to answer questions about the Linx. They have to be trained and observed before they can obtain the product for implanting.
