Help - Difficult swallowing & Throat Pain

Does anyone experience difficulty swallowing food and belching while suffering GERD?

I have a sore throat and ear pain(left side only) for months but recently I found it is hard to swallow hard foods like steak. More specifically, it is not like the food can't pass through as all. It feels like they were stuck in a place in my throat for a moment before they passed. The place feels like near or a little below the Adam apple. The situation was on and off, sometimes it is better and sometimes it is worse for no reason. After the food passed, I belching right away and also after meals. When it is better, I can swallow anything without problem.

I have been on PPI for over a months because my GI think I have some GERD symptoms(not much, I don't have hearburn). But he refused to do a Endoscopy before I see ENT doctor. So I went to see ENT last week and she said nothing in my throat expect some inflammation and my problems seems GERD related.

I have to wait for a couple weeks before I see my GI again. And I am so sacred and cant sleep well at night. Any thoughts? please help me.
