Over the summer, I tried to do what every other college kid I knew was doing; going to parties, having fun.
But one day I woke up, and the nausea never went away. I burped constantly, and spit up a lot of my meals.
Since then (beginning of august), I've been on 40 mg of Omperazole, Probiotic, gaviscon, and lots of tums. Endoscopy and Ultrasound of gallbladder didnt turn up anything exception what the doctor told me was GERD
So when I finally got to school, overcame morning nausea, and was beginning to start my original diet, I got over confident, and three beers later I'm getting injections of Zofran.
Student Health now says its gastritis, so I have Carafate, on top of Prilosec Omperazole, and I'm incredibly disheartened.
If anyone has any good news stories, I would love to hear them. Its really depressing being at a Big Ten University, staying in on fridays, worried about nausea and burping fits.
