Psychosomatic GERD and Chest Spasms caused by Aspergers?

My GERD and symptoms of esophageal spasms - the GI doc said - is caused psychosomatically. He is only partially correct. Allergens are what also trigger issues. The whole 9 yard. Indigestion, vomiting, spasms mainly.

I had a bottle of Zoloft sitting untouched for 6 months in the drawer, so when I saw a site indicating this is used to treat esophageal spasms I thought it is a good idea because it would have also taken care of the panic attacks that were killing me at the side of the road. Mostly caused by allergen foods - tightens up esophagus. And also sudden acute spasms which occasionally exist.

I also saw a documentary on sharks and serotonin levels. And how it regulates constant digestion. Right there I realized, wait, of course... my serotonin is definetly fu*&ed. I always had anxiety issues from that, hypersensitivity to emotions, etc.... so I thought ok time to get on this.

Second day on it, started digesting everything. That week gained back more weight. Spasms reduced by 70% in pain (only half dosage of Zoloft like 10 mg). Feel less depressed, less indigestion. I can eat a burger or pizza or other various serious allergens now and wont be in near collapse.

Athletics - I can play sports again and even participated in a winning team for an event.

It didn't work as well in the third week, still vomit a bit sometimes. But not nearly as much. The effectiveness of the drug has weaned. Now in 4th week more stabilized. Barely ever get spasms of the esophagus anymore. Digesting better. No acid reflux.

I have learned I have Aspergers. Aspergers people are very sensitive to stuff. Life is too real for them. Zoloft numbs the experience of life to more normal levels. I don't even take much. Half the minimum doctor prescription amount.

DOes anyone know if there is a link between this form of subtle autism and medical issues? I am almost certain there is now.

Hi there. We spoke before. Thanks but serotonin is not fishy. Seratonin is one of the main things that regulates digestion in both sharks and humans. Pushes motility the right way. You can find plenty of articles that show how seratoning is a key factor in proper digestion... even my digestive juices and natural stomach squeaks started sounding and feeling right going the right way after Zoloft...

My serotonin with these anxiety disorders was clearly messed up... so took the Zoloft and food was digesting. You always write off my posts as invalid but I have clear evidence proving otherwise.

Aspergers makes anxiety more intense and more frequent same with stress.. Harvard medical school has proven that illnesses - 80 percent of the trips to the hospital are illnesses that are anxiety or stress-related.

Please do not write counter-productive replies when I a trying to get somewhere and then when I am finally onto something after posting in here for about a year now. These doctors don't know anything with their silly PPIs. Allergen food are the culprit... so it was avoiding those at first... even sulphites.. but then after going further to the brain - because everything is controlled from the brain - well I can even eat sulphite-containing foods... not proof enough for you?

Allergies are also caused by anxiety disorders which weaken the immune system. aspergers must certainly be one of the root causes of that unnecessary and enhanced anxiety in some people - and google it - it said people with aspergers develop these issues.

I want to know if others can chime in on my best options... meditation or Zoloft? (problem is with Zoloft, its dangerous if you come off.. science has show that it can mes up the brain.. and you can become worse than before you were on it....

I have also found out that GMOs are KILLING ME!

If I have a big blown up GMO banana, I will start choking, having chest spasms, feelings or impending doom, dizziness, and passing out. If I have a real organic one of small size, then Im fine.

Same with grains and corn. GMOs are out of the question for me.

All the allergy foods too- which normally make me almost suffocate - eggs, strawberries, any dairy coming from a gmo-fed animal, etc.... serious issues. GERD, esophageal spasms, etc.... if its clean im fine.

No more questioning for me. So clear now.

Its no wonder GMOS are banned in most European countries.

Those bast*&%s need to stop this criminal activity.
