LDR or silent reflux

I have constant throat clearing and mucous in my throat but no symptoms of GERD other than that..I went through a period of chest pains thinking it was a heart attack but all cardiac tests said my heart is fine..I had a throat scope by an ENT last week and she said my larynx and vocal cors were inflamed which led her to silent reflux...I have been on these PPIs and ranitidine at night..I sometimes feel better but it comes back...also, I have had hoarseness on and off..How long do the meds take to work with LPR? Did these meds help?
