Had nissen fundo surgery last year, June 2013. Everything finally got better. On Friday , Nov 7 started experiencing esophagus spasms. Is there anything I can do to control or stop those spasms

Take magnesium supplements, it really helped me a lot, I bought it from Holland & Barrett, it has Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc.
Calcium is 333.3mg, Magnesium 133.3mg, Zinc 8.3mg
I have had same problem as you as esophagus spasms, it bothered me a lot and I took magnesium supplements that my mother was taking it and she recommended me and I took it, it worked in first day fast and it really cleared my esophagus, I can burp very clearly and no stuck wind. This is my third day I am taking it magnesium supplements, I take two tablet a day as between meals. Its also helped me with stress, depression and anxiety a lot and calms me as well!
You can eat Almonds as nuts, they have magnesium a lot, I am taking them as well. Nuts has highest magnesium in them! take both of them.

How you doing. any improvement at all? I forgot to mention you, you can ask your GI for Dilatation esophagus! and Endoscopic Myotomy, they help to treat your esophagus spasms completely and you can eat and swallow food normally!

Hi pennie
May I ask, do you drink any fizzy drinks, including beer as well!
Any very strong spicy foods do you have?
As well do you eat a lot of chocolates
Or you don't have none on them
