Hi,
I've have posted back in May about
my gallbladder removal last year, IBS-D, small hiatal hernia, and gastritis problems. I already went to gastroenterologist and was diagnose with Gastritis with no h-pylori (endoscopy test) and IBS-D. Blood test and sonogram were normal except bilirubin slightly elevated, which the gastro believes its Gilbert Syndrome. I'm taking on and off pantoprazole over the past few months and at times famotidine with gaviscon. I try to keep a good diet mostly on LOWFOD Map diet, yoga, and breathing exercises. Over the past month my gastritis got worse. I can't exercise normal like I use to without aggravating my gastritis. Very gassy, bloated, right side slight pain radiating to right side back, and at times my energy level goes up and down. I have my good days and bad days.
My question, is PPI medication making it worse, and has anyone with gastritis better manage with only famotidine and gaviscon alone? I also tried some holistic remedies which didn't really work. I try to relieve my stress, and anxiety, but not sure is my gastritis might be a nerve impulse disorder? Also, I stopped eating gluten foods which help control my diarrhea. One more thing, on and off the past couple of months slight feeling of fullness on my left head and ear. Not sure due to allergies.
Would appreciate someone's opinion or similar experience?
Thanks.
Bill
