Has anyone found more relief from stomach/esophagus burning by sticking to a low protein diet?
I read that protein stimulates the release of pepsin, and it is the pepsin rather than actual stomach acid that irritates the stomach and esophagus.
I've always tried to keep protein high to keep my weight up as I avoid fat and too much sugar, but Im wondering if I'd be better switching it around, and having higher fat but very low protein. Anyone tried it?
