If I experience heartburn 1.5 years after my wrap, is it safe to say it failed? I normally go very light at breakfast, but had one piece of pizza with bacon and sausage (posing as breakfast pizza) and felt some what I would call heartburn.

Are wrap failure and the wrap coming undone two different things?

Last time it was checked, the wrap was on the tight side. Maybe food is just piling on, but I don't feel like food gets stuck anymore. Idk

I don't think the wrap has failed. There is no way that a wrap can completely eliminate heartburn, and I think it's normal to get it from time to time. I had a full wrap in April 2014, and I get heartburn (on rare occasions), and it's very minimal. I have not taken any PPIs since my surgery and it has completely eliminated my use of an albuterol inhaler. My reflux actually caused my asthma and bronchitis issues.

Thanks for responding.

I have learned it can't cure all reflux. I take Pepcid 3x a day. I guess the pizza bypassed it.

I had roughly the same amount of pizza around Christmas and it didn't bother me.

I had to lay down for some blood work this evening shortly after I ate and definitely think I felt some heartburn. sigh
