New Here. Long time GERD

Hi! I'm new to these boards and have a question. Up to about 4 mo or so ago, I was on nexium 40mg daily for many years. I tried (with varying degrees of success) to switch to Prilosec then Pepcid. Mostly, I had a lot of dyspepsia with the Prilosec (and some depression-weird) and with the Pepcid, break through reflux and joint pain. about 2 weeks ago I decided to he!! With it and restarted my nexium. I have been miserable ever since. I should note, that I've never had a problem on nexium. It had treated me well and I was merely stopping it to see what would happen.

The day I started it, I was feeling great them got hit with a huge wave of nausea and vertigo. This moved onto ear pressure (changing sides) and more dizziness. I'm at a loss. Has anyone ever had issues with restarting a PPI and having symptoms like this? I do have some sinus issues and am also tapering from clonazepam, but the clonazepam dose has remained steady for two months.

I have had those thoughts, but at two months since my last cut, I wasn't so sure. It's worse after I eat. I get really foggy and full in my head and the war pressure is really intense. Just wondering if the nexium could be exacerbating the withdrawal. Thanks for the reply!
