Hi
I have had GERD for about
25 years, since I was In my mid twenties. I had a Nissen fundiplication about
20 years because my reflux was so bad that I threw up in my sleep. The GERD also affected my asthma negatively. After the surgery everything was great and I was able to go off all reflux medication and eliminated most asthma medication, now, 20 years later, my surgery has loosened and I am once again vomiting in my sleep. Let me tell you, that is no fun. I wake up choking.
I wanted to know if anyone else has the issues with the vomiting and find out what you do.
Also, has anyone had the surgery a second time!
