Welcome to the forum.
We're not doctors, but you'll find advice from many people here who have had this surgery. Of course, your real doctor knows best!
If you read a bunch of threads about exercise after this surgery you'll find see that it takes months to recover. I'd start with not doing any exercising that involves the chest and abdomen for at least 3 months, including stretching. This surgery is commonly done now, but it's still major surgery! There is still healing even up to a year, so when you do start stretching, work up very slowly, maybe one new gentle thing a month - after the first three month initial recovery.
Walking is considered a good thing, but I would avoid running. This is a marathon, not a sprint. A little exercise 2 or 3 times a day is better than a big workout all at once. Ask your doctor about physical therapy.
Think of it as a vacation, getting used to your new stomach. Poor motility is a concern. You may need extra time getting that worked out because pain meds can slow things down too.
