I am new here, so hopefully someone can help me.
A little history
I am 42yr female with 4 kids all grown 25 to 16
I had 2 C-sections, a gallbladder removal ( 20yrs ago)
A left knee surgery, both knees ortovisc, a hysterectomy.
I have always had a sensitive stomach, bad reactions to meds, and get sick very easy. I have also had problems over the years with my stomach and bowels, usually running for the bathroom within moments of eating.
Then in January I started having a heaviness in m chest, cold burning in throat, naussua, not eating and constipated. I went to ER they gave me pralosic 40 mg and ondastion for nassua 4mg. via IV I had a ct scan without contrast with a GI cocktail.
sent me home, was sick for at least 2 weeks, start feeling better on 40mg 1 x a day of pralosic. then I get broncittus for 5 weeks, 2 bladder infections in Feb. finally get better, a car accident in march, slam hand in car door 1 week later.
Now recent, Tuesday I went to a PTA meeting, wasn't feeling the best came home attempted to eat, immedaitly got chest pain, cold burning in my chest, elephant feeling on my chest and a cold burning feeling in my left arm, also add naussua, uncontrollable shaking. ran to ER they immedaitly brought me in as a cardiac patient, admitted me into the hospital, had a cardiac workup, everything is fine but they think it has to do with my stomach, so also had a endoscopy, they took biopsies still awaiting results, chest pain is gone they cant explain why I had that or the shaking. still have a lump in throat, elephant on my chest and naussua. I am home now after 3 days in the hospital. I have 80mg of protonix and 4mg of Zofran every 12 hours, still feel like crap. DR said it is probably gastritis and will probably take awhile to clear up and will probably reoccur. I have a lot of stress in my life and also have diabetes type 2. should I be worried about everything that is going on or just take the meds and see. I am a non smoker and I never drink alcohol.
