I had NF surgery (laproscopic) almost three weeks ago. So far I feel great Had a large hiatal hernia which was twisted and my stomach was twisted into it. Lost 20lbs prior to surgery which was the only good thing. Surgery took about 2 hours and when I woke up in recovery felt some pain in upper chest but not bad enough to take morphine. Never took any the whole time in the hospital. Was given hydrocodone to take a home which I took in the afternoon and that night after I arrived home. Have been feeling great. Do not mind the soft food and cannot wait til I can eat everything without pain. So far I am so glad I had the surgery which was performed by a doctor who does bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
