Can't stop coughing

Since being on dexilant I have developed a terrible chronic cough. I'm not sure if it's from the med or if it's from the med not working. It's only been 2 weeks however and while I thought things may be off to a good start I am starting feel terrible.

I don't think I am ever going to get better.

No its not like that. I actually think I may have some sort of chest infection maybe from aspirating so much. My stomach muscles are getting sore from coughing, that's how much I am coughing. I have a doctor apt on Monday which I am sure will prove useless like the others.
