Saw ENT, found nodule on vocal cord

Has anyone ever expierenced this?

I have been struggling with swallowing for months and while I have GERD and esophagitis I felt like something else was going on so I decided to schedule an appointment with a second ENT as the first didn't seem knowledge.

The second ENT findings were a severely red, irritated esophagus (surprise surprise) and nodule on my vocal cord. I asked if that could cause swallowing difficulties and he said it could especially for people who already have GERD.

He gave me a script for vocal therapy and to,d me to stay on my mess as I have. Problem is Jed's aren't working. It's been three months on dexilant and my esophagus still looks like raw meat. My throats been so bad I haven't ate in days and when I tried to eat a turkey sandwhich today out of desperation I felt like I was choking and had to leave work.

I'm tired. I hope this vocal therapy works.
