New to This Forum; No Burning, pCP dx as Peptic Ulcer?...

What a week, a true douzy! Friday night I ate went to bed and within ten minutes was heading to ER. I was rocking back and forth in pain like I have never had, made my knee and fibro seem like a scale of 1. I could not talk pain in sternum wrapped to back entire upper back. All I could do was say Oh God for two hrs. Once I got a shot of morphine it stopped along with a cocktail of GI meds and intravenous GI. Ultrasound and EKG and Heart Blood work, twice. Wow.
They decided to release me after second heart enzyme test. In my follow up w my PCP yesterday he determined I had Peptic Ulcer. I don't have GERD, so please let me apologize, I post regularly on another forum and truly know the peers here understand their syndromes and can give great advice :).
I cant wrap my head around this dx when there was and was never burning, illness etc. Despite bloodwork, I suspect it is gall bladder stone that blocked my intestine but was small enough irritation was not seen.
This along with my continued whiplash brain injuries/repercussions has been very disturbing.
The highlight was that I beleived I was going to die and was ok with it. I felt my life and relationships were in order very calm inside will body justmspun out.
Any one have gall bladder issues??

I now have mild pain in same frontal area. I also am taking pepcid AC and I now get slightly uncomfortable stomach after swallowing pill. But for about 4 mins. My PCP pushed up under rib on left side and that mildly hurt. Nothing else but few burps. I wonder if the Pepcid is actually causing burps?
I am suppose to start prescription Prilosec. The pharmacist looked at my notes which stated I was allergic to benzoates? What else is a Benzoates? I do not recall this at all. He did not answer when asked, twice. He is a ego type and we don't get along well.
Also, would the morphine stop me from feeling a small stone? Once that hit my system all the pain fled, never felt happier in my life :) . As I have fibro I take other daily pain meds and per ER docs suggestion took diazepam 3 x the day to relax my back that was at level 11 on a pain chart.
Any further input appreciated.

Thanks. I will carry on as if it is an peptic ulcer. I really appreciate your wisdom. It was just so intense, knew I would be dying :)(. I have been given prescription Prilosec. It is in the benzoates family. I looked at my hospital papers and Zofran also contains it. They gave it to me intravenously and later a cocktail w two items plus lidocaine.
PCP said taking one Prilosec daily for a month will remove ulcer. Also to play down acidic foods.

My PCP talked about H. Pillory and said it was either that or the ulcer at left side of lowest rib bone. This is where esphoguas meets stomach?
He said that Prilosec for four weeks would remove ulcer, period. No further tests ordered. Frankly, I am taking the Pecid still but have zero symptoms. If I had an ulcer located in such a crucial spot wouldn't I feel it still? This is just one of those things where I feel my dx was not right. I will begin Prilosec next week but.....
I just hope my "whatever" never repeats!
Is it better if I push for further testing or leave well enough alone?
