What was the sweetener in the candy? Several of them cause diarrhea if you eat much of it at all. Read ingredients! Some of them come with warnings!
It should clear up in a day or two, but if not, see your doctor. I wouldn't run to the ER unless it's causing severe dehydration because they won't do anything unless you are badly dehydrated and can't keep liquids down, and then they can give you fluids IV. But the cost of the ER isn't worth it unless you are getting into trouble.
Drink whatever will stay down. My preference is regular, not diet, Vernor's ginger ale to settle the stomach. Easy on the ice! The dry ginger ales don't work well. This one has real ginger in it. (I don't tolerate processed ginger in any other form.) It's been a family "cure" for generations. Tea with real cane sugar, no milk, is my next "go-to."
If you think you need to see a doctor and can wait, call your regular doctor. It's lots cheaper.
After a big bout of diarrhea you might consider taking some probiotics so you don't get secondary infection of bad bacteria going wild. Don't go crazy with this either, just a normal dose for a few days. Don't just get the cheapest. I get good results with Philips Colon Health. Others may come along with other suggestions. Artificial sweeteners and other additives to food are not good for us! I have a terrible time with preservatives and food that is processed. If a food label is more than half an inch I don't even read it, much less eat it!
