I think ever since having the gerd condition then I feel more tired than before though. I do get a lot of acid from the condition. I feel the burning feeling in my chest ya. I mean I do feel tired from the problems gerd can give though. Can the condition make you have no energy though. I feel like I am tired for most of the time though. I don't really feel like doing things sometimes ya. I really don't like having this condition though. I think it will be hard to get rid of it ya. I don't know what to do ya. I just want to find something that works for it.
If you've been diagnosed with GERD and you know that is what you have, then yes, it can cause fatigue. Though there is some debate between both medical professionals and nutritionists on the cause behind this. My take on this is that whenever you have GERD symptoms that means on some level your digestive system is out of wack.
Something is out of balance and our digestive system is complex enough that science still doesn't understand everything about it.
Please note, however, that your fatigue might also be as a result of something else, not necessarily GERD. If you haven't done so I would recommend going in for a full physical with complete bloodwork done to make sure all your vitals are normal and that you are not being fatigued by a lack of iron or some other vital nutrient.
I think in this case you should definitely go see a doctor and tell them your symptoms.
