Acid Reflux Med**** Alternative to pills?

Hi:

My doctor has recommended I take a PPI. I have taken it before, and it works pretty good, but, I have a very hard time swallowing pills. I gag! Why do they not make acid gummies or chewable or liquids? What can I do? I am fearful I will choke!

Bookrea66. I know the feeling, but you will be happy to know that they do make those. I just started taking Prevacid. All I do is place the pill on my tongue and it dissolves in about 1 minute.

If your doctor won't change you - just make sure to drink lots of water with the one you are taking!
