Stretta procedure after nissen fundoplication

Hi everyone, i've done nissen fundoplication 10 years ago, things went well for 8 years, for the past two years i'm suffering again from the acid reflux which causing throat pain and ulcers in my mouth, i've tried all the anti acid medicines but they didn't help at all, so now i'm thinking to do Stretta Procedure, do you guys think that it will work good with me since i've already done the nissen fundoplication ??

Unfortunately, I've not seen many people post with good results from the stretta procedure. Seems like more are posting they have not seen any change. If you go to the search option at the top of the HealingWell.com screen, type in stretta there. You will then be able to bring up some of the past post.

I have been taking nexum 40 mg twice aday, i took pariet same dose and pantazole.. They did not help me at all

I just wanted to make sure you really tried high doses of PPIs.
I haven't really informed myself about Stretta, so I can't say anything about it. Like CAGU already wrote, there are some reports of users on this board who had Stretta done and there is a Stretta group on facebook, too. Just recently, I read a post of a user who said he had gotten gastroparesis from Stretta: LINX Surgery Week 4 Followup
However, as I already said I didn't really inform myself about Stretta so I can't say anything about it.

Sorry I don't know anything about stretta but just on odd question, I'm wondering if you've ever tried changing the timing of taking your ppi's. They tried making me take two doses one in the morning one at night and it has never ever worked for me. If I take it all at night though for some reason it works. Good luck finding a solution. Sorry you are dealing with the reflux after the wrap.
