So on Friday I met my new Gastro and what a world of difference that was! First off she sat with me for an hour so I could inform her of everything that was going on. She made sure I understood that she was there to help me feel better and that she truly does care about
my recovery. I brought my records from my previous doctor and she was not impressed. First off non of my diagnosises are noted anywhere and I may have to redo my endoscope because the report was so poorly written with no detail at all.
I had another Barium test done in a facility the same day and I will say it was a horrible experience. The person doing the test wasn't the nicest and I have a hard enough time swallowing so I didn't really appreciate him yelling at me to drink the thick liquid barium faster while I was laying down.
I go for a mamatory test in a couple weeks and I am nervous about
that. Anyone have it done?
My new doc is exploring motility disorders especially since I have autoimmune issues. She also wants me to go to a rheumatologist in a top Manhattan hospital for a second opinion. I am hoping I am getting on the road to recovery. I just had to cancel my annual vacation because I don't want to travel while feeling like crap.
Thank you for everyone here for all the support and well wishes. Hope we all find relief soon.
