Shortness of breath with Prilosec

I have been taking Prilosec on and off for years...at times for long durations. In thinking back I've realized that whenever I take it for a extended period that I get shortness of breath as well as a full feeling in my upper abdomen and a tight feeling in my diaphragm. I never really connected the two until I recently read an Article stating that not only can it cause those, but also other symptoms I've been experiencing like severe dry mouth (especially during the night). I stopped taking it this morning and already the shortness of breath isn't as severe and full tight feeling in my upper abdomen has lessened somewhat. Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects?
