So I moved to Phoenix from Alaska in July...
Since that time I've had this minty taste in my mouth.
I read on this form that someone else had a similar issue. And I too am wondering if it could be caused by Freon or antifreeze from the air-conditioning system in our apartment. Mind you all, I never used air conditioning in Alaska for obvious reasons; there was no need for it.
I just had a check up with my dentist before I left Alaska. And everything was fine.
It feels like the taste is coming from the back of my throat or the left side of my upper jaw where I had a bridge about 15 years ago. I floss daily even the bridge. My dentist gave me an excellent check up and said if I keep up the good work I could keep my teeth for another 40 years.
I've been taking protonix for about five years now for Gerd.
It's been working perfectly without any problems whatsoever.
My fear is that I have an infection that's gone undetected; as well as, if others can SMELL this!!
It's made me self conscious. Even though I ask my husband about my breath, he says the same, "your breath never smells bad babe."
At a loss.
Please help.
