Eonsinophilic esophagitis is usually diagnosed by the biopsies, so if they came back clean you are probably alright.
If the PPI's are helping, and eating GERD friendly diet helps, then stick with that. It can take a few months after your first attack of it to for your symptoms to fully resolve. When you say your stomach feels tight, is it tight like if you were bloated or constipated? Because PPI's can cause mild constipation in people. It sounds like you have caught it early and that the treatment is helping. Try not to scare yourself with the posts here, remember that we are the people who have tried treatment after treatment with no avail, people who do have success with treatment don't need to come to forums like this. Mine is uncontrolled by medication now, but I had a solid 12 years of complete manageability before that.
Interesting you say it started after Clindamyacin, there seem to be a few people saying theirs started or got worse after taking some kind of antibiotic.
