Gasririts????

I am 56 yo female. Had squamous cell carcinoma removed from from face 3 weeks ago today. 11 days after surgery I broke out in hives and went to Er which was put on 60mg predisone one a day for 3days with 50 mugs of benedryl 4xs per day then dropped down to 40 mugs predisone and same benedryl dosage for 3 days and ended back at Er this past Sunday from overdose and now have gastritis. I am doubled over with pain in my whole torso, difficult breathing, have lost 9 pounds, can't eat can't sleep. Please tell me this all will go away soon. The pain is excruciating.

Has anyone ever felt like this before. The Dr.took me off the predisone immediately and has me taking prilosec once a say.

Any assistance would be awesome. Please tell me this will subside soon

Gastritis is a little difficult to deal with. Some sites talk about avoiding milk while some accept milk as norm. Diet plays vital role in the treatment but you have to know the right food and PPI drug to use. I used Licorice though and it help to some level.
