Hi! I've had LPR since August. Prior to this, never been sick in my life.
A case of laryngitis brought it on. Now I constantly feel globus, hoarseness, dry throat etc.
Been on ppi regularly since January. Prior to that I was on a lower dose,
Then stopped for a while because another dr didn't think I had reflux.
I'm also doing sodium alginate after meals.
Will this ever resolve? I'm starting to feel hopeless.
I'm a pharmacist and have done a ton of research on the subject, read
Numerous publications on alternative treatments, irritable larynx syndrome, you name it.
Even on baclofen to help with transient LES relaxations.
Been to several ENTs, none of which are experienced in treating this disease.
Have not undergone pH probe test yet....no heart burn or any GI symptoms other than burping recently...but that could be due to treatment for h pylori that was discovered through blood test.
Can anyone tell me your experience, what has helped? Or shed some positive light for the future?
One of my biggest problem was eating habits, I used to get off work at 9, eat at 10:30 and go straight to bed. I always ate super healthy though, a lot of fish, Avacado, olive oil, etc.....
Please help!!!!! I really need some encouragement.
Thanks so much in advance for sharing your experience

Have you tilted your bed yet, four to six inches? It really has helped me a lot. Helped, but not cured.
