Hello,
Has anyone had or knows surgeons who perform highly selective vagotomy? I have had severe symptoms of GERD and more recently nasopharyngeal reflux for many years and had a transoral incisionless fundoplication 2013 let with little to no help.
I have been on H2blockers such as ranitidine, PPI's, and strict diets but it seems as though foods which didn't bother me even several months ago and are starting to cause reflux flares.
I am very much interested in knowing about the highly selective vagotomy, but it seems as if from what I read they tend to be mainly indicated in people with peptic ulcer disease. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be very grateful.
Thank you.
