as Alcie said, this is a long, and can be a complicate recovery. at just under 9 months, i as you, still deal with chest pressure. it is normally due to build up of gas, as well as the suturing, that was done internally, and also that fact, in my case, about 1/3 of my stomach, decide to head north, so there was a fair amount of surgical work that had to be done. so alas, this is the dreaded new normal, a lot of us will have to deal with. i sometimes, have to take up to 1500 mg of acetaminophen a day. and other days i have no issues with chest pressure. onto burping, i was fortunate as i was always able to, but still i have bad gas after i eat, and my stomach is still semi sensitive. i can eat, most things but i am very careful not to overeat. it will get better, it is a lot of baby steps forward, and plenty of sideways. hang in there
