Gerd throat closing - sleepless nights

Does anyone struggle with biWeekly throat closures caused by Gerd? There is no rhyme or reason to it, I am following an anti-inflammatory diet (super-strict), on PPI for the 3rd week, but at night acid rises, closes my nasal sinuses and throat, I get anxious, which does not help, spend two nights a week walking instead of sleeping. Antihistamines combined with Gaviscon seem to ease symptoms, but many nights I sleep in the recliner chair sleeping up. Had Hpyllori, probably have IBS but this bothers me most....
